After painting, Mama gave me and Teacher Lui some of our home-baked cookies. Mama also gave Teacher Lui a pack of these cookies as our holiday gift to her!

First I draw the two green apples, the vase and the chair.

And to mix all primary colors to make brown and umber.

My Van Gogh Painting!

I am painting Van Gogh's Starry Starry Night Painting.

It is a night time scene looking down at the city below

with cypress trees on the left

and twinkling stars and moon above

looking like fireworks!

But I do not like it.

I do not like dark colors.

I prefer to paint bright and daytime colors.

Teacher Lui said I did it well in 40 minutes!

I made this after my workshop with T. Lui.

I used oil pastels on felt paper.

Another Abstract Painting!

Etching Painting

First, I paint this rainbow colors using primary colors and let it dry.

Then I mix the primary colors to make a darker color

and I paint this dark color over my rainbow painting!

And then I etch my design over the dark color while it is wet . . .

I have to work fast before the dark color gets dry

and I won't be able to show my rainbow colors underneath!

Can you guess what I am etching?

I made a seascape etching!

My Abstract Painting!

First, I choose four colors starting with umber.

Then I use pink, 

and I add more white and yellow 

to the pink to make peach 

and the last on the top is yellow and blue 

with white to make blue-green!

Then I use the initials of my name

and add blue green moon

and a small red house

and colored rocks 

with rhinestones

and this is it:
